I've run braid on one rigger and stainless on the other for 4 years. Haven't fished this year, but last year and the years before the Scotty braid has noticable blowback when fishing 100+ feet down. At depths 60 and less, no real differences at king trolling speeds of 1.25-2.5 mph.

In a week of fishing it was about even between the two.
