Tis the time of year for good sized cutties to be roaming the beaches around my local haunts. Plenty of fish in the 16-19" range and I have seen several bigger that seem to somehow escape my grasp. frown

Peter- I fish with 3 rods ready to go in the boat most of the time. these fish both came on floating lines but I also fish with slime lines and on occassion a full sink. There were a few coho around earlier in the summer but not many, and very few that i would say were ocean fish.
as for chums, i dont bother with them.
