Hopefully someone will be able to run what's left of the Coho for the family this year. Otherwise, yeah, all of those Coho transients crowded up the place.

Dave, I've been checked on the water but I've never run into any sort of road check point out of Sekiu.

It boils down to Snowcreek: keep one king hatchery or wild and lot's of bottom fish.

Sekiu: Keep two kings hatchery only and three bottom fish....pretty much three black cod.

The run is not that far from either place to the other. Both should have decent king fishing. Myself I know how to fish Sekiu very well and have no problem limiting out on hatcheries and releasing the tyee's.

Sekui rocks, been going there for years fishin for salmon. After the early 90's downward spiral I switched up to the bouy 10 7 westport fisheries for salmon.I pretty much only do snow creek for north of the border butt and lings and a limit or two of sea-bass for my fish-n-chip run. This year was the first year in about 10 that I actually fished for salmon in that whole area.VanRiper's is were we always stayed.Good luck,

I actually took my wife to sekui on our honeymoon of all places. No wonder she's my ex now.

I more plug I'm make for small boat fishing further west during July is that there would be a good chance of silvers on the inside already.
