Too many spey rods - I'm looking to part with one of the following:
Orvis Trident 14ft., 9 wt., 3 piece with tip flex of 12 (fast rod). Teamed with a Tioga 12 reel and loaded with SA's 8/9 XLT and 150+ft. 30#backing. $500.
Sage 9140-4 graphite IIIe (green blank), 14ft., 9 wt. With blank warranty card. $400.
I can be reached at 360-873-4096.
Thanks

The backing figure for the Tioga setup is in error and should read 150+ yards! That XLT is one fatty line.
The Orvis has been used about a dozen times and is my favorite 9 wt. with the long belly XLT.
The Sage has been used 4 times and remains as new.
Both rods come with respective tubes.

Okay guys, the rains have come with more forcasted - what could be better than a 9 wt. spey rod to fish the late native runs?
Both these rods do tips with the Orvis handling the long belly lines very well and the Sage doing the WindCutters/shorter heads.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, I will only sell these rods in person - no mailing to ya to try, sending a check if you like it. Sorry I don't have any stock in Check's In The Mail, Inc. and my momma raised no fools.
I own 500 ft. of frontage on the upper Skagit between Bacon Creek and the Dalles Bridge. Should anyone wish to try either or both of these rods, there is plenty of room here to try them.
Sorry such a post is necessary...

The Orvis combination is being lowered to $450. A great setup for "tips, and the long belly lines of Spring/Summer/Fall.
The Sage remains at $400 and represents a good opportunity to save a bundle over retail.
