I personaly think both of them are asshats.

The biggest asshats have ALWAYS been the liars on the lunatic fringes of BOTH sides of the political aisle......they work their lying azzes off every day trying to snooker the bulk of us CommonSensicans who sit pretty damn close to the political equator and are too busy working and paying taxes to have time to personally respond, so we end up hearing all the garbage that has been carefully spun and manipulated so it appears to be the "truth".

The real crime is that they really really do believe we are that stupid. Yes, they do. Why else would they feel such complete freedom to tell us what to think, what to believe and how we are supposed to behave?

There has probably never been a more ripe time for a fully functioning third party in this country 'cause more and more people feel abandoned by both parties. The psychotic, power-hungry, pathologically lying evil punks who lurk in the ultra-radical shadow fringe of BOTH parties have had too much power and influence for too long.

And that's mostly because we are that stupid. We operate in an environment of very incomplete information, draw mis and un informed conclusions, promote them with absolute passion, and are disappointed, or more often, accusatory of others when WE are wrong.

My best conclusion, for what it is worth, is that we are heavily propagandized from both the right and the left, and usually can't tell the differences.

I think it's a lot like fishing. We can, and should, listen to what others say... and then we have to learn to think, or to fish, for ourselves.
