I don't have any digital photos from prior to 2004. Plus, I don't take a lot of pictures of fish. I used to take some, but after a short while, they all look the same. Maybe if I took better and more interesting photos I'd think differently. Then again, I go fishing to fish, not to take pictures. And I've noticed that concentrating on trying to take really decent photographs really detracts from my quality fishing time. From all the internet photos I see here and elsewhere, others have different priorities than me. It's not that I wouldn't like to have some nice fishing photos, but most of mine don't impress me. Consequently, even if they were all digital, I wouldn't expect them to impress anyone here, which is why it isn't worth the time to go through the uploading process, which I have done, and find it to be a p.i.t.a. I'm glad others do it though.

I dig those pics, D3, and I bet they carry some great memories for you. I also like the idea for the thread.
Like Salmo, I don't have many pictures to post. I have quite a few in film format, but not much in 0s and 1s. The only fish picture I have posted since joining was my original avatar, where I was holding and admiring a super fresh Hoh River hen steelhead half in and half out of the water. She was a gorgeous fish, and I thought the picture (minus my goofy, grinning mug and duck hunting camo waders) did her some justice. After a while, though, I got tired of looking at myself and took it off.
I've seen some amazing shots while browsing here, and that's one of the things that keeps me coming back. Keep 'em coming.

That's why I crop my self out... Looking at D3's pictures of the past remind me of a picture of my grandfather teaching me how to tie a leader with a trailing hook. I think I was around 10 at the time.
