AP a.k.a. Kaiser D Hippie Registered: 01/31/02 Posts: 4450 Loc: B'ham	I broke a defective Lamiglas Back Bouncing rod on its second cast last year. I finally sent it in for repair back at the start of May. They cashed my check on May 14th so I know they received the rod. As of today, I haven't gotten a replacement or a letter or a phone call. I haven't tried to contact them yet but it frustrates me to think that is what I now have to do. I sent back a broken Loomis rod in late May and used the expeditor service. I had a replacement at my house the next day. Just the facts... And, yes, it WOULD be easier if I didn't break rods. -AP

outfishn Returning Adult Registered: 12/08/08 Posts: 257	The same thing happened to me and I was told the rod was not in stock at the time. Eventually after a couple weeks I got the replacement. It was a free replacement due to a defect. I've since had two "fast track" replacements and the rods were sent to me quickly. I even asked if they could replace my last broken rod with a different model similar in price, and they were happy to replace it. So overall, I'm quite happy and satisfied with their service. _________________________ As in I wish I was outside fishing right now........

tailout terror Unregistered	I've always just planned taking a half-day off and driving down there myself. I've never had an issue doing so. It's a risk but Ryan will always take care of you.
