Hey, I've got an '86 clacka , and would like to put a low back seat for the comfort of the rower, me. My rowers seat has a riser cast into the seat for the traditional rope weave, so it is not flat, the valley between the 2 risers narrows down to just 12". Has anyone out there found a good, low back seat that works well for driftboats? Are the canoe seats on the market worthwhile? Or, has someone fabricated a folding back onto their existing seat? I know this might sound wierd, but it beats whining about the poor photo shop job on the front of WDFW fishing regs. , right? Later, Ken

Thanks for the info, the more I get the more options I have. How's the summer-run down your way? Up here at the 'nooch, it is still slow. The grumpy old men (Bill O.), are taking a few but, not much else. Later, Ken

The NRS seat is the plush (and spendy) one with a drain hole. Search on "tractor seat" and you will get a bunch of hits as well. Messed up my wrist yesterday.....prolly won't be going out this weekend. Of all my usual, extreme jobsite hazards, I was taken out by a wet, grassy slope North Fork Lewis should be getting good, 2660 CFS (I like lower, but not bad). You can scratch 'em out in May and June but the NFL seems to really get going in July. It's "city fishin' " though. Late July-early August the Deschutes (Oregon) will kick off. After fighting well-behaved (on average) NFL fish, this place will re-introduce you to the fish dance.

Later, Ken I think I saw one on the Hyde site and maybe the Clackacraft site. Might take some modification.
