I have a pretty rooster, but his demeanor isn't, so today after I get two replacement roosters, he will meet his maker. He's the one on the left.



Feathers that may be of particular interest are the long stringy yellow/green feathers on his neck, but there are also lots of reds and greens that this photo doesn't show, plus some cool looking sheen. Might be good for scuds, etc.

Not looking for anything for payment, just paying it forward a good deed coming my way. Let me know.

I'll have some pheasant and possibly some Valley quail capes come September.

Another use for borax.

Pin stretched skin to cardboard (skin side up). Rub skin liberally with borax and let dry. The skin will become hardened and cured.
