Check this out then call the store:

They will be more then happy to point you in the right direction. Crabbing has been good and there are resident coho that are easily taken from the beach or the jetty at Birch Bay Village.

Saw a few sockeye jumping Wednesday night at Birch Point. Didn't have fishing gear- otherwise I'd try the dodger and squid on those guys at highwater slack. Plenty of crabs though.

When I was up in school we went out of the bay took a left and fished what I believe is Cherry Pt. and the crabbing I experienced still cannot be met. Have never seen a pot so full but I guess anywhere you go that is two hours away from metro Seattle and commercial crabbing will have lots of crab. Is there a place to camp up there?

There's Birch Bay State Park for camping:
http://www.parks.wa.gov/parks/?selectedpark=Birch%20Bay

As you head toward Birch Bay from I-5, after you cross the old highway, on the north is the old Forest Grove Ball Room. In about 1974 Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen played there. My wife and I went with 6 friends. BYOWhatever. Every hippy from 3 counties & BC was there. Smoke 4 feet off the floor ( I didn't inhale) and the Commander pounding the keys, rocking the house for about 4 hours. Great time.

Thanks for the help. Can a guy go out to the islands and catch any kings or silvers?
