We took a break from King Camp....
To change things up we headed over to the Yakima on Wednesday (chasing the heat). It was 95 and windy.
I figured Brent would struggle with the fly rod so I packed some drift fishing gear as well. It was kind of a two birds with one stone thing as he caught plenty of fish and honed his drifting skills.

We had a ball and it was a nice change of pace.

Trout fishing is rad! Good catch fellas!

Nice! Attached is my last night's favorite pic (taken from a buddy). We had a double on that ended in twin 20+ pounders.
I am headed to the Methow to throw a fly around on Sunday. I am bummed to miss the end of King Season, but it will be nice to put a 4wt in my hands. (photo by Diane Hebner)
