Just wondering if anybody know anything about Caddis waders. We are looking for some for my wife, she found one she likes. But I was wondering about sizing do they run bigger or smaller the they say? Do they hold up well? Or what ever info you can give.

What about dealers, know of anyone that carriers a good selection, since they don't have a dealer locator on their website?

Thanks.

I am not a heavy user, but I bought a pair of these (I think on Todd's recommendation, for a good value set) and have been extremely happy. I can't speak to sizing, beyond the simple advice: go try 'em on. I think I got mine at Joes (now closed) I think Outdoor Emporium has them, but calling around seems the wisest move...

I don't know what your price range is but my wife has the women's Redington waders and she likes them.

On top of that I have had my Redington CPX waders for 8 months now of steady abuse and they have not leaked yet. That is longer than my experiences with Patagonia, Cabelas, Orivs, and medium priced Simms.

I think Redington got their wader making in order and those horror stories regarding their waders are a thing of the past.

I bought a low-end pair of Caddis neoprene waders to replace my old leaky Hodgman's, and found them to be very poorly made and a waste of money. They started leaking on the second or third time I wore them, and after I spent the time to fix these with Aquaseal a number of other leaks appeared almost instantly in other spots on the seams.

It's a given that the breathable waders are an entirely different product from the neoprene ones, but based on my own experience I would never choose the Caddis brand again. Fool me once...

I plan to replace my leaky neoprene waders with a good pair of breathables at some point in the future, and will shell out for a higher-end model and, hopefully, get my money's worth.

Very similar to the ones I have... Again, no problems for me, for what that's worth. You will of course need wading boots with these which you may or may not have thought about.

I got to test the Caddis Northern Guide zippered waders and was quite impressed. I liked the exterior texture of material, tough, yet had a slight 'fuzzy' feeling when you brush your hand over it. It didn't 'swish' when you walk...you know, that annoying nylon-ish sound. Reinforcement in all the needed areas (knees/seat) and no inner leg seams to split out when you climb over a log or boat gunnel.

I had a Large/Tall, and felt it fit my 6'2, 190# frame well, without too much excess bulk. Neoprene booties fit my fit well too (12's).

Don't know how these may relate to the ones your wife is interested in, but they did well, especially for the price.

Alright thanks.

Now I just need to to find someone that stocks them so she can try them on.

Sports Authority has them online, so hopefully the have them in one of the stores.

Dicks sporting goods has them online aslo, but the only store they show is Puyallup.
