My regular front seaters have had to learn to do without sand shrimp. Oh sure they buy several containers each morning but after the first net job of the day they realize my dog has eaten them all smile

Keeps the pup full and me highly entertained smile

These are a lot less messy and don't go bad unless the hook rusts. Now if I could find a true sand shrimp scent. They are not a time saver option though that is for sure.

Tough to beat raw prawn chunks cured properly... There's been many days I've out fished grade A eggs with them... If the fish are seeing too much of something it's always good to bring them a different dinner plate...

The prawn chunks are dynomite because they work as a scent sponge.... Add your favorite scents during the curing process...

One of my favorites in the winter is a cherise pink prawn chunk with a metallic blue corky...

Twitch what kind of bribe do you need to do a tutorial on tieing those up?

I've got a few sandshrimp flies my dad handed down ~10 years ago that look similar (tied by someone he worked with). Won't even fish them anymore cause I've only got a few left and they're so pretty.

Funny, when I first saw this thread, the first thing that popped to mind was Twitch's skrunk. Damn fine shrimp fly. Messy as hell to tie though! The whole floor in my house, upstairs and down, is glittering with little bits of estaz.

My school is growing...slowly...but surely.

Nice work Coley! Just a heads up on that trimmer... it'll only last a thousand or so skrunks before you burn the guts out of it rofl

Coley, that's a gr8 shot! Is your bed just out of sight to the left?
Looks like a "wake up", "grab coffee", "tie"......"GO!" scene! smile

You lie kingfever! You picked it up and I took it and used it as bait, I was the one fishing it when the jack hit. Also if your hooking up dates with girls from your school, I'll take one too.
