I've taken a little different route. Not as productive.....I've rowed a whole bunch of rivers in the past year. Some days were very productive. Some days were a boat ride. I have had a lot of fun rowing though.
One thing I've learned is to ask how you know you are coming to the take out.
The other is "anything I need to be worrried about?"
That last one is big. I did a new to me river a few months ago and nobody ever brought up any challenges. Hardest river I'd ever rowed.
I'll ask next time. Good times for sure.
