TM,
Why don't you hold the bbq at Caliche or Martha and tell people it's the secret lake...

I agree with the Zen. If your party is too noisy or loud and all of those good smells in the air. All of the good people around you will find you and it won't be a secret any more. SHHHHHHH. Old Man. :p

There was a cold snap over there, lows in the hteens. Nothing a good, down sleeping bag couldn't handle. Although TM kept warm with Oso.
The steaks, potato salad and blueberry pie was great.
Fishing could have been better, but we definitely caught our share. Water temp was 38-40 degrees, so a couple of weeks of warmer weather will definitely help the bite. Biggest I hit was 22". All fish RB's but picked up on 16" brown.

Yes it twas a bit chilly at the lake. Good food, great crowd, and some really funny times. The TroutMaster was humbled this weekend by not finding to many fish likeing his flies! Micro Brew changed his name to B*** B***** but I guess I'll let him tell you it. Fishingfella has the best fly collection, and is one talented tier! Looking forward to fishing later with him. I couldnt find my vest before I left, then lost my full sinking line! Found the vest right before I left to go over, and found my line as we left the lake today. It was in Jose's stuff, he thought it was his. Damn I would've caught more fish. And the best part of the trip was eating cheese burgers today at noon ON the lake!!!!!!!!!! 2 guys had their bbq in their boat. Thanks to all I met for a good trip. Hope to see ya soon otu there.

TM,the way you ranted and raved about that lake I thought that you would have filled this thread with all of the fish that you caught. Glad to see that you had a good time. Jim S. :p
