I like Parker...he fishes ten days a year, always with a guide, has used Holey Worms for one day, and is on their ProStaff...combine that with his boat ho'ng skills, and that's an InterWebz all star!

smile

Fish on...

Todd

P.S. Honorable mention for Lead Bouncer...always good for a chuckle.

Todd, because he uses big words I don't understand. And back when I was a lurker I saw Parker go on a sweet rant.

Todd or Stam.

Both actually fish, both have a sense of humor and are witty, and both will still fish with me.

Dan S. Cuz he's damn good at putting things in perspective. He shoulda been a philosopher. Hey Sky Guy, can you change his name to Fishing Philosopher?

Something tells me this is the important part...that's a lot more rare than being witty or having a sense of humor smile

I'd say either Skyguy, Stam or Parker....
Mostly because of their bad-b1tch photos from the coast.

I haven't been here long, but I like dave. Not so much because of his credentials as a published author, but he loves the chit out of his dog even though it destroys all his things and doesn't like to swim.

This thread is a little bit mancrush-esk.

I haven't been here long either, but I look forward to any Fish Prince post because he tells it like it is. He is a complete phukhead, and doesn't suck up to Todd like everyone else. Even though we have 4 dogs, 1 of which I like.
My second choice is between Trent and Trent Rickman, I am not sure who is a bigger tool.
My least favorite is either KK or Abu Loomis, they are both sycophants and offer absolutely nothing positive or worthy to humanity.
Notice I used a big word that I learned from Todd.

I'm with Nofish and cast my vote for Bob and Cory for having and maintaining this website, in spite of it all. Best fishing site I know of in terms of depth of knowledge, and with a bit of hesitation I'll add, quality of content and sophistication.

Not much in the know with this finite group, but used to love to read posts from VHawk and Sol. I think they still may be around under different names? Great entertainers!... Regulars: Eyefish for his on the water knowledge, love his experimentation; Todd for his legal perspective, quite full frontal approach though, and great knowledge; Phoenix77 for his publication updates, Thank You!; Bushbear & Slabhappy the same, awsome knowledge and updates; Aunty, the same, but sometimes I wonder? Smalma for the biological knowledge! I know I am missing some important folks, but the rest of you are nothing but a bunch of bragging bitches needing some recognition for your success. I sense some self esteem issues with the most of you! I would guess to be flamed for a long duration. Bring it on, I don't care!

Word Origin & History

sycophant
1537 (in L. form sycophanta ), "informer, talebearer, slanderer," from L. sycophanta, from Gk. sykophantes, originally "one who shows the fig," from sykon "fig" + phanein "to show." "Showing the fig" was a vulgar gesture made by sticking the thumb between two fingers, a display which vaguely resembles a fig, itself symbolic of a [censored] ( sykon also meant "vulva"). The story goes that prominent politicians in ancient Greece held aloof from such inflammatory gestures, but privately urged their followers to taunt their opponents. The sense of "mean, servile flatterer" is first recorded in Eng. 1575.
