I recently booked a charter with a group of buddies on the westport sportfishing Rampage. We are going on a 2 day trip and was wondering if anyone has any expiriences with them. I would have normally done some research before booking but the trip was being lined up by someone else.

Randy is a good skipper and his deck hands are top notch. But he can
get a little cranky if you do not follow his rules!! We have filled the boat every time I have been on the Rampage and we have filled the boat in less than 7 hrs!!

What type of rules are yoy referring to.

If you are new to live bait tuna fishing, the drill can be a little confusing so he isn't afraid to tell you you are doing something wrong.

He is one of the best in Westport for getting you on a hot tuna bite, but he can be a tad "gruff" if you blow it by not paying attention and causing problems by doing so.

Don't worry about it, just go and have a great time and be prepared to have the sorest arms you could imagine.
