I may have to go back up there since I struck out last week in Drano.
What fishen/catchen method is used in the wind fishery? Same as Drano?
Is it same as in the lower river(Cathlamet) or is it more of a Shrimp&spinner show. I have been a Herring & dropper guy, sometimes using FishFlash

Troll in a circle no more than 100' in diameter & send your lines out the same distance. Every minute or so, yell at the boat next to you for being to close. jk wink

SSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!! Some secrets are supposed to kept secret. Now he knows. Way to go. smile

I used to fish down there a lot about 10 years ago. It was mainly magwarts or similar type lures being trolled around. One year it was exactly like onthedrop said. About 50 to 60 boats going in a circle in the space between the launch and the bridge. Combat trolling at its finest. One time I did see these two guys show up, anchor and bobber fish with shrimp. They limited out quickly and all of us troll monkeys were in shock. They anchored up in the spot where everybody fishes for steelies. Off the point on the east side of the river inlet, kinda south and east of the beach spot.

"Prolly" the same dudes doing that at the wind only with eggs. It was late in the season just outside the bridge in the cove.
