I've been to my favorite trout lake recently, and suddenly I'm finding perch where there were once trout. What gives? They certainly like a long and fast stripped red sparkle bugger with black marabou tail and schlappen hackle. In light of the perch seemingly occupying the trout habitat, can anyone clue me in on what actually might be going on and, perhaps, what to do in order to find the trout? By the way, lake surface temperature was a 50 degrees and the bottom was slightly higher. If knowledge is power, I need some trout power right now.
