hey just got in the market for a used 8-10hp 4 stroke kicker.It needs to be electric start, (manual with charging system might work). Either manual or electric tilt ok althouugh would prefer electric. Just starting to look but thought I would throw this out there in case someone had one they were looking to offload. thanks

Sounds like ya need a T-8.Good luck finding one and look for the cable ends to be cut off during the theft.

yeah t8 would be nice prolly wont happen. 1 year ago when i was looking for kicker i ran into about 5 cable cut hot ones off CL just in seattle area alone. I got a lead on one right now. and its off a fishing site he is here in PA. gatta go take a look at it....

My dad has an older 99-02 I think honda 9.9 -15hp electric start that runs great with real low hours he said he was going to get rid of. I know it hasn't been used in the last 5years. short or long, Art? I have an old 2 stroke 6 evinrude short shaft you are welcome to use if you're headed this way. Just put a new water pump in it, so I would expect it to be just fine. Any way, you're welcome to it.

art, thanks i might be intereasted if this other honda doesnt work out, and a 9.9 is as big as i would want to go. i should know what is going on with that in a day or so. i will keep an eye out for a smaller one too...
