Contrary to my usual rant about modern "country" stars, there are still some good ones falling through the cracks, and ol' Brad looks like the genuine article, especially holding a fish he just caught on classic gear in the company of a redneck eye surgeon from Podunk, Warshington. Not sure I ever saw a cowboy in a wading jacket, but when in Rome....

E-mailed the look-alike dude his fish pics last night and couldn't ignore the uncanny resemblance.... even much better in real life. So I started this thread for sh!ts and giggles to see if anyone else would buy the likeness. Apparently I wasn't alone.

Half of Aberdeen thinks I really went fishing with Brad Paisley and that pic is circulating all over Facebook and a couple hundred cellphones today. Friends and family are all callin' wondering why I never told them in person. Too funny.

Honestly the dude's a cool guy... laid back southern charm and all. He shared a story where some lady pulled him aside in public asking, "You're him! .... aint'cha? You're that country singer!" He looks around and there's a dozen people with one hand over their mouth and the other pointing excitedly at their encounter. Embarrassing and flattering all at once.

He'll be fishing with me again on the home turf in October.... only this time he'll be bringin' cowboy boots, a guitar, and his cowboy hat singin' "Oh looky there.... another bite...."
