Nice. That"yellowfin" is a yellowtail. I had never heard of one this far north. Great eating also called hamachi (sp)? Possibly the best fighting fish in the ocean - pound for pound

Sorry, yes your correction is spot on. Tired, long days, and frankly that's why I don't care and you're here to fix my mistake, lol! Thanks tho guys, Jake looks like the island life is treating you quite well! Right on dude! Maybe I'll come out in late oct.

The tuna captains who fish live bait around any piles of loose kelp floating around out there find Yellowtail fairly regularly off the coasts of Oregon and Washington...not in numbers, but consistent.

Hamachi is good, but the only tuna it's superior to is albacore.

That's just my opinion, but since I'm THE DECIDER, you can just accept it as fact.
