So, do to life getting in the way (kids, job, ect) I have been on the sidelines for fishing for a few years. I was going through my storage area and found my Sage 9wt and 4wt. Took them into the backyard and casted them for a while. Long story short, I want to get back into flyfishing. I know there are pinks around or SRC. I am not that pick just need to get out. I have only been in Gig Harbor for a few years and don't know of any places to go. I am not looking for a "honey hole" but a area that has some fish and easily accessable. Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks in advance.

Drop by the fly shop in Gig Harbor and introduce yourself.
If you are in Tacoma, stop by Puget Sound Fly Co.
Both shops staff are very helpful and will help you on your quest.

scenic beach park under the narrows bridge, signs on hwy 16 on how to get there or type in google map, theres src, silvers and pinks to be had there on occassion. Under purdy bridge on gas station side too. basic #6 weighted white over pink clousers on intermdediate sink tip lines will get you in.

good luck

thanks guys. I will do both. That's odd that you bring up that clouser color size. That is generally my go to. Thanks again.
