What always amazes me about watching these big time SEC games is how ridiculously fast the defenses are. Every time you see a guy catch a ball in space (it's not often you'll see anyone running in space without it being a pass play) and it looks like an easy first down gain, three dudes come out of nowhere and blow the guy up before he can gain 5 yards. Watching your team play against LSU this year must feel hopeless. And Bama is damn near just as fast. Scary.

I'm no SEC fan, but I have to admit that their second best has pretty consistently been a cut above anything the rest of the country has to offer over the past 15 years or so. Just typing that makes me feel ill....

I don't think it's speed alone.
Oregon's got top tier speed especially at RB.
The SEC somehow comes up with these fatties that are humongous yet very fast.
Other teams around the country might have one of these types but a top SEC team will be lining up 3 or 4 of these guys against you.

So it's line play where they really excel and of course overall defense as seen in the LSU - Bama game.

PAC 12 needs to find/recruit these big, fast fatties and then you'll see a juggernaut. Our offenses will take care of themselves.

Some good teams in the top ten, except for the Smurfs of course.
Would like to see a playoff to sort them out.

The game lived up to it's billing. I say rack'm up again for the Championship game.
