Also curious if it can stay true and not turn over with hard diving plugs in heavy current. Had that problem with LJ side planer.

I started using these boards a few years ago without the front plastic piece and they would dive when they hit a wave with the new piece on the front has cured the diving problem. I used the LJ side planners for years until I found these there tuff and easy to use and not rapping the line around the head I like.

Cool, I like the line release. Wrapping the line on the hot shot planer is annoying to say the least. Will have to test one out.

Run, wrap a peice Of 1/4" lead around the arm near the rudder oh the lj planer keeps the arm down and doesn't jump around
