How's it compare to the Luhr Jensen hot shot? Does it run out farther?

Also curious if it can stay true and not turn over with hard diving plugs in heavy current. Had that problem with LJ side planer.

Dang, I like the price on these. Only 25 cents. I'll take a bucks worth.

On the other hand, these look good, good luck with them.

I started using these boards a few years ago without the front plastic piece and they would dive when they hit a wave with the new piece on the front has cured the diving problem. I used the LJ side planners for years until I found these there tuff and easy to use and not rapping the line around the head I like.

Cool, I like the line release. Wrapping the line on the hot shot planer is annoying to say the least. Will have to test one out.

Run, wrap a peice Of 1/4" lead around the arm near the rudder oh the lj planer keeps the arm down and doesn't jump around
