It cracks me up when RWWJs disparage Obama’s lack of impromptu speaking ability. Their darling, George Bush, was, by far, the worst unscripted speaker we have had for president in my lifetime. JFK and Reagan were good. LBJ, Ford, GHWB and Carter were poor. Obama is fair and GWB was simply a pathetic embarrassment.
The only possible reason the RWWjs could have for such silly conclusions it that the idea has been repeatedly force fed to them by the conservative media. Clearly independent thinking escapes many who simply parrot what the talking heads tell them.

Their darling, George Bush, was, by far, the worst unscripted speaker we have had for president in my lifetime. The sad truth is that gwb actually had notes on 3X5 cards during his speeches, and he still screwed them up. Every president since LBJ has used teleprompters, as has every gop candidate. Except Cain.... and that speaks for itself.

Maybe someone here could explain his/her support of the "beer summit"......or have you forgotten? Right out of the box, Mr. "Oh, man!", jumps into a cop/friend fray as negotiator with a beer. How very Mr. President of him. Of course we shall forget the Chicago stumping as an Olympic site as well, shall we? That fell way short of the mark, I believe. I seem to recall a "present" for the Queen that was quite Presidential, as well.
What is ridiculous is the apparent undying dedication exhibited by the noisiest on the Left that not only can't stomach hearing anything negative about Mr. Not-so Presidential, they likewise can't mouth the truth when it's put right in front of them.
What I posted on the opening of this thread was received by me in an e-mail. Einstein is one of my favorite historical figures. The "quote" was not generated by me, but I thought the concept was hilarious. Some saw the humor.....others tried to make a huge issue out of the "sacrilege" of making fun of the President, so the Third grade name-calling began.......and now here we are.
Aren't we the proud examples of acceptance, tolerance, and diversity? I think it would be a good thing to just lighten up a little.....especially since what you and I say and do here has about as much chance of making a difference as stealing a bucket of sand from the beach.
what's that bumper sticker say......"Wag more, Bark less"..... we don't have to be enemies.

I saw one yesterday that said, "Vote Republican, it's much easier than thinking". That IS interesting......because if you do think about it, it says exactly the same thing about Democrats. aka, it's saying vote straight Dem....how much "thinking" is involved with that?

Those that "think" they're enlightened...those that "think" they're socially conscious....those that "think" killing an unborn baby is ok....those that "think" phvcking someone of the same sex is deserving of special rights....those that "think" their war is better than the other guys' war......on and on ad nauseum.

I really don't hear much talk about what a good job Obama is doing. All I hear is that Bush was worse. I certainly do not think Obama is doing a good job. But yes, Bush was much worse. This seems particularly relevant when Rs criticize Obama’s speaking ability after giving us the worst public speaker in modern times.

Hilarious how people still cry and whine over the last president ... guess it proves that the current hasn't done anything to give them a chance to cheer over?

laughable at best. No its horrific that we first put the guy in charge of the largest corporation on the planet (The United State of America) that had a string of 7 bankruptcy's. The only business Bush was involved in that did not go bankrupt was the Texas Rangers and he was only let in because of his daddy and was a minor investor at best. We put a chronic loser in charge and will deal with his losing legacy for years. What would be hilarious, were not so tragic is that the people who put Bush in office fail to recognize just how disastrous he was. Fishy
