Does the grip on the gloves allow u to use fishing rods without loosing them overboard? Or is KAST coming out with a rod tethering device named after you?

Deerlick,

Maybe I've been missing out, but I have never seen a glove in this price range that is 100%, dunk your hands in the river, waterproof. Warm, good dexterity, and great for rowing. I just know these things flat out work and on a 27 degree morning, rowing the drifter, sure were nice smile

look beyond fishing brands, klim powerxcross glove, appears the kast gloves are the same glove different name, also there are other motorcycle gloves that are goretex and allow great grip in the same price range that are gooretex fleece lined, but again none of which are very good to fish in rowing and fish yes, but i dont remember putting on my nice warm dry gloves while fighting a fish so i didnt get my hands cold and wet. i guess if u like to pull plugs all day these would be fine, but thats not for me.

price is high but not that bad... I have been loking for years for a glove I can row in and have yet to find one I use more than a time or two before going back to bare hands, so if they take care of just the rowing part I would be intereasted...

Dude, CM, I fished, cast no problem with mine. My push button rod worked great with these. Seriously though, I had no problem casting my bait casters with the gloves on. And I kept dunking my hands in the water just trying to see them leak, which they didn't. Pretty cool.

I buy the 6$ fingerless wool gloves. They work great even when wet. Dry out the best. And are practically disposable at their price.

If it is too cold for them than I probably shouldn't be fishing.

I feel like I've tried a lot of gloves and I always end up with the same fingerless wool ones.

I think Rico's post is a selling point in it's own right. If Rico can't make them leak then nobody will be able to...boats don't even usually stand up to Rico's "tests"...roflmao.

Just got my pair ordered to try out for the winter. They look like the first thing that might make my hands stay warm all winter. How were they to row in?

Wonder how these would stand up to this crew's testing?

80 bucks is steep but if there completly waterproof/dunkproof then there worth it in my eyes and budget.

These gloves have a rubberized palm and fingers that won't strip the protective layer of slime off like every other glove on the market. After releasing a couple thousand steelhead I'm of the opinion that they'll work just fine thumbs
