We got two videos yesterday where i let him and he let me have first crack at the hole...so it shows the actuall first 4 casts into a hole and hookup into the silvers. VERY cool to see. I hate how all the fishing shows cut to when the fish is on and they are fighting it. ill try and put them together with the other days videos of hookups and show you guys. pretty cool. LET THE HATING COMMENCE!!!! ( rubbing hands together)

Jared kept the darker fish ( which had great meat in it when filleted out) because it was a hatchery...he caught it on literally, his 4th or 5th cast. kill hatchery. it ate great. (shrug) what you gonna do.

I don't hate you, but dude I'm not lovin' the post processing. Your pics are more baked than your salmon. I'm begging you; get with Sebastes, Coley, Dave or Doc for a consultation, so the rest of us can admire your conquests without getting color vertigo.

I'll keep that one in mind when sliding that saturation bar to the right.

Sometimes, rather than fighting it and forcing a pic into life, I just find it easier to slide that sucker all the way left and let the monochrome tones speak for themselves. Saved many a pic in my library that way.

Not a whole lot different than the effect when a color pic is drawn into a pencil portrait.

Kinda like smoked fish or cured eggs, sometimes less is more. The better the beginning product, the better the end result. You can polish a turd, but at the end of the day, it is still a turd.

As for Merg's contributions, this site is more or less about entertainment, and I'd say he succeeds at that.
