Fished the Nooch from 7400 down to Wishkah cutouff, saw, rain, snow, freezing rain, hail, blue sky and some windy stretches.

After the 8 inches we got yesterday, the pile outside my front door is now taller than I am. At -20F, at least it is low density and easy to shovel. Not feeling too sorry for you guys

too far out to get a good read on precip forecast. if it looks like that on Tuesday then maybe something to watch. My experience is different Fish4brains. At least by PNW standards  I've found that forecast fairly reliable to about 6 days out. We are going to get some serious precip here in the next week.... What kind certainly is anyones guess, although I have a hunch it will be cold rain..... Neal

Lordy in this updated NOAA 10 day thing look at the rain but look far right at the freezing level. It goes from on the deck to way up raining like hell and drops right back to sea level. This is where we get snow but remember the ice storm a few years back? This is how that happens and this could get very ugly. Make sure the Gen's are ready and you have gas. http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/weather/10_day.cgi

About 3-4 inches in the Drfit Boat yesterday of wet snow, very cold day on the river but hit a couple. Then an accident on the bridge between me & the turn around cost me an hour at the end of the day.
