Been really fortunate here.....a couple of blinks, but that was all. I see on the news that power outages are a rather large number....over a quarter million without power. Were you as fortunate as I.....or stuggling with no power?

Out three hours Wednesday. Out three hours yesterday. I have power now but my line from the house to the street hada huge limb pull it down to about four feet above the ground.

I can get one of my three cars out but the street is still an ice rink.

Over a foot of snow but the power has stayed on so far.
Besides, a power outage is nothing that Makers Mark can't fix.

Neighborhood was out for about 30 hours, including the motel that went dark between the time I signed up and got back to move in. oops. No issue with the refund.

All that pricing with the Honda generators forgot one little detail. 120 dollars worth of electrical cord for the 30 amp twist lock connection, adapter and 50 feet of 3/10 guage. (which is STILL only good for 15amps due to the size of the adapter. )

Then the fking power came on.

I live in an apartment complex up on South Hill in Puyallup. We were out for 33 hours, came back on last night. What is weird (and I expect very frustrating) is the buildings across the parking lot are still dark. Different circuit - its worked the other way in the past. Thanks to the linemen who work in very tough conditions to bring back the power!!!!

We are back after a 48 hr outage. Thanks to the fireplace insert, and dry wood we did OK. Without the fan working in the insert do not get much heat out it. Pretty much just stayed downstairs where the fireplace is. We suffered thru a 6 day outage a few years ago, but I got to go to work then so it was OK for me, but the wife did not like it.

We lost power for about 5 hours on Thursday. No big deal. Fired up the generator and we had heat, lights and television. The real biotch was later that night when the satalite dish froze up and I had to get out the ladder and knock the ice off of it at 11pm. smile

Power went out Thursday around 2:00 PM. Still waiting for it to return. I shouldn't have procrastinated so long on that generator I asked advice about in November. I ordered it before the storm, and delivery was delayed due to bad road conditions. It arrived at noon today, but I still have to get a power cord that couples to my electric service panel.

Had a [Bleeeeep!] ton of trees break. My driveway was blocked four times, so I've hauled branches and tree tops for three days so we can get to our road. I'm really glad we have showers here at my office.

No power for nearly 5 days, from early Thursday to Monday late evening. Generator ran great and kept freezer, frig, and septic pump going, but eating soup and hot dogs for that many days isn't fun.
