I read somewhere about a long standing enchroachment by the park on a part of the Quileute rez. I'm not certain but it may have been on the Rialto side of the river. There may have been another enchroachment near the easterly side of the rez. I tried to find some info online but my wife just brought me some fresh, from the oven peanut butter cookies, so I'm not looking any longer. She doesn't like crumbs in the keyboard.

Yep, and the dunkin' was fine. She's honed her skills & she get the cookies just rght so they don't fall apart in mid-dunk. I'd mail you a couple or toss them out the window next time I'm rolling by Disco Bay but I'm eating them.
She made bean soup with hm hocks for dinner. I woke up to that smell this morning & cookie smells when I came in the door tonight. After almost 40 years, it's amazing I don't weigh 600 lbs.

That kind of makes sense...Atleast it's on the coast, better than Whidbey Island and all the Tsunami evac signs pointing uphill that they installed.....

The higher land will be transferred from the Olympic National Park. The legislation settles a dispute over the park’s northern boundary, and guarantees permanent public access to two great beauty spots of the park’s coastal strip — Rialto and Second Beaches.
The backpack from nearby Third Beach south to the mouth of the Hoh River is one of the world’s greatest beach (and headland) walks.
