Wine!!

You know what's sad is that around here a field of dandelions like that would have been abuzz with bumblebees. Today I saw not a one in my dandelion patch.

My father in law was a wonderful man. But he was a bit eccentric. He made dandelion wine every year. He said he liked to toss in a few stems.As that made it so bitter no 1 would drink it but him.

+1. So long as you haven't been spraying chemical crap on them the leaves are pretty good mixed in with a bunch of other greens in a salad.

I've had dandelion wine, and thought it was ok...though I'm sure there's as many varieties as there are winemakers.

I don't spray 'em.......or they wouldn't be there. The seeds set up in the mole hills.....and dogfish wouldn't come over with his bucket, so I got what I got.

Have used some for dandelion greens.....taste alot like spinach.....but can only eat so much of that.

Mebbe you need a goat?
