Well… I have a friend that chased a girl all the way to Ireland (actually moved there – 3 years now), so no hunting for him.

I told him I couldn't do that… so after about a year he says “Oh, there are some deer in the park by where we live. Could you send me a grunt tube and a doe & fawn call?” So I sent him a couple of calls.

Then I told him that I wanted some pictures… he finally got a digital camera… and here is the picture he sent.

He also ask “…how to count these points?”

I told him that it really didn't matter since he can't hunt them!!

Anyway check it out… Nice buck!!!

Is that one of them red deer or is it a fallows? I guess you could score it like a moose since the racks look alike.

That's a fallow deer, and it look like it might be a dark phase(melanism, the opposite of albino). Red deer look a lot like elk.
