I use a Grand Coolee in my boat, when I am fishing alone for a day trip, you can make them much tougher by putting a 1/4" plywood overlay on the top, I use poly sulfide, (3m 5200) to attach it to the Styrofoam lid, it does not take up a lot of room and keeps ice well, however fish much over 20# fill it up, but that's a nice problem to have. Longer trips, or fishing with partners deserves a bigger cooler.

I am also looking at getting a good cooler for my boat, I have all sizes of the Igloo up to 170, had the 200 qt but its too big to lift when full
I have 2 120 quart with the small lid on top, that will fit in my truck. I have a locking folding aluminum cover. So the height matters, but they do not keep ice frozen for more then a day, I believe the small lid opening (not insulated) causes this.

Does anyone have the Moeller 94 quart cooler. Saw it on Amazon for $255

I'm done buying coolers with hinges attached by screws into flimsy plastic, cheap plastic latches, lids that warp, and sides that pull apart when you pull them sideways with the handles.

Fish bags seems like a good idea, but capacity is definitely an issue.

Buy a YETI, you won't be sorry and it will pay for itself in ice in a few years if you use it.
