Got some outta state folks coming to fish Buoy 10.
Can you get the appropriate WDFW license and catch card on-line, print them out at home and be "turn key" without having to physically purchase documents at a license vendor?

They can buy licences online. They can come ready to go if you are going trout fishing, but they have to wait for the card and actual license to get mailed to them if they are going to fish for salmon or steelhead. Bummer.

You don't have enough time if your department is as slow as ours...

You don't have enough time if your department is as slow as ours... Maybe not Twitch.... looks like OR has the better on-line licensing mechanism. http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?t=419942I'm having my guys buy 'em on the ODFW website!

Heads up on that Francis, your folks will need the combination license as well, which is mailed, at up to 10 days... Combined Angling Tag (Resident, Nonresident, Juvenile)
Postal: Will be mailed within 10 days

I think you can get their particulars and purchase the license for them as a "gift" license. They just need to sign it when they get here.

I had the relatives email me their info (name, address, SSN, driver's license info, height, weight, etc.) in advance, and I print out the email. Then I go to a license dealer, give the clerk the printout and the clerk issues the license. No problem.

"NON-residents". So we can blame anything that goes wrong on them? Like Alaska?

My experience is that it is really easy to get licenses on line with wdfw, and everytime they've mailed them out same day or next day depending on the time I submitted them. Haven't got a license at a store in several years. The punch card is the only thing that would keep a person from fishing immediately as you can print out a temp license.
