Thought I'd share a few, been putting the time in this summer watching the bulls grow. Anyday now they'll start rubbing.

Archery season is right around the corner and a few of these guys better be ready...

Yeah, seen lots of bulls over the years but not many that have a tuft of hair as a mane... Odd looking bugger. There's 2 bulls in that area that have that mane like that, not sure if it's a genetic thing in that particular area or what...

Noticed the date on your pic's.

The bulls in our area really started rubbing the velvet off around the 1st.

By last weekend (the 11th and 12th) we saw several that were polished up and a couple that were doing there best to destroy every alder in the woods.

It is time!

Yes, on our last outing we spotted a nice 5pt that had rubbed off and his antlers were nearly blood red, pretty cool looking... Now he can darken them up on some trees and then take a journey to my freezer...

They're talking a bit too, did a locate call late monday night and had one answer right over the top of me...
