Just wanted to post a sincere "THANK YOU" to glowball for some help in the field.
I drew a limited bull tag for an area I wasn't familiar with and that's a 3+ hour drive from my place. Bottom line: I had limited scouting opportunity.
Glowball was good enough to point me in the right direction and give me some good advice.
We had an awesome elk hunt, and Glowball's advice was key.
I know some guys don't like passing info, but I've given and gotten off this board, and passing info is just one of the benefits.
So, thanks much, I do appreciate it!
Dan

Any time Dan. I'm a firm believer in helping fellow hunters out. Especially guys like you. I've watched you do it over and over on here so I didn't even have to think about whether or not I'd like to help you out.
Glad you guys had a good time over there. I sure do love that country.
Kris

Holy smokes. I just now noticed all those extra points on that front bull. I guess I've always been leaning back in my comp chair when I've seen that pic. Do you got any better pics of that rack? What did that sucker score?

I think I've got some pics. I'll try to find the CD they're on and post a few.
He is one funky-antlered old bull. He's got some really strange stuff going on, which you'll see if I find the pics. The right side is almost classical/typical, except for an extra sticker.
The left side is obviously mangled. It's not obvious in the avatar, but I've got some other pics that show the mangled are. I assume he bunged it up kind of early in formation.
I don't honestly remember what he scored (I want to say 365 nontypical). Both bulls are muzzleloader bulls. The 6X6 in 2001 and the 7X7 in 2003. The 6x6 scored 280, but sure doesn't look it next to the big one.
I was hoping to add another to the garage wall this year, but....

Hey kris, I'm tired and apparently not smart enough to figure out how to post more pics here, so I'll send them to your E-Mail address.
