Hi guys, I live up in Bellingham and it's now time I got another Lab for waterfowling and upland bird. Before kids, I had a fully trained black lab. She and I learned how to waterfowl and hunt pheasant together. When it came time to put her down I had two very young kids so it's taken more than 5 years to be ready for another dog. My son is 11 and just passed his hunter safety course. Time for me to train him and a new dog. I hope to pick up a yellow lab with good hunting genes. Prefer a female puppy. Ready to pay the usual higher fee for a papered dog. I have put the word out but thought this board would be an added benefit to find a good, reputable breeder. Finding someone close to my area would be a bonus.

I have a AKC Black female that I am looking to breed next year. She will be two on 1-20-07, so I think it will be a good time to breed. She should be in heat around May.

Boone, checked it out. I'd prefer to get my dog from a breeder with known hunting genes. I am willing to spend the $$ so might as well increase my odds with known history. Thanks anyway.
