Hey gang,

Saw another thread about a drift boat trailer that was damaged hitting something on 1-5. Got me thinking that it's time for insurance on the drifter.

For those that own drift boats, who do you use for insurance? Does your policy include an allowance for gear if something happened when on the river?

I've got $13K total on my DB w/ $500 deduc.; boat, trailer, motor and incidentals (rods/oars/tackle) are broken down individually. Cost is $109/yr through State Farm.

They went above and beyond on my old sled. Very impressed.

I have had good luck with state farm in the past. I will check them out.

I have insurance for mine also and it is also covered under my umbrella policy, To many people I take out to have a problem on the river and have someone get hurt and try to take everything I have. Not any problems yet. But it's peace of mind
