With the news of a Springer caught in the Hoh, I'm wonder what are some favorite Springer Tactics of people out there and which rivers get the best shot of fish?

I have tried all the so called favorites on the Hoh. I've had success with plug cut herring behind a diver, but by far the best has been with the vibrax's in sizes 3,4,5. Color depends on the water but green and charteuse produced as well as brass when it was low and clear. I don't think that color has that much to do with it, if the fish are there and you work the hole carefully...

You can visit the tips section for one of my favorites. the 'Duc run is all hatchery ... the Hoh native. Both can be very good at times ... the Hoh has been getting pounded in recent years with closures elsewhere and many guys not wanting to float the 'Duc under lower water flows. Remember, patience is critical with these guys!

Bob, you mention the tips section. I don't know where that is anymore. Can you help?

Awesome improvement to the board. Thanks
