Just couldn't force yourself to do it could you. I have a few 100's. I see there is one up for bid @ $110. I think I may be forced to bid. :-) $220 for a used reel is a ton. Even a 201

Ebay is a great place to pick up a used reel.

I just rebuilt both my Bantam 201's....I'll give you a great deal for the bargain basement price of $200....I saw one for sale at the Antique Angler in Sumner for $125 a couple months ago.....don't know if he still has it, but that is a pretty fair price!

How do you get parts for your 201's? I have had a hell of a time getting parts for 250's, still my favorite reel though. Is there someone who rebuilds these for you or do you just gets parts and plug them in?

I took both of mine to the Antique Angler in Sumner, Wa. He cleaned, oiled, replaced the drag washers and put in a new pall for about 25 bucks. 360-863-0934. Give him a call. He works with Shimano's alot, can probably help you with the 250. Good luck
