I love the slack line bite, where you feel the wobble stop, line goes slack, and you reel like hell till you catch up and then cross their eyes-

Dick Nite's all the way!

Ran into this Layne Staley lookin' dude on a remote river that swore by em'! He said you had to double stack the wee 50/50's and twitch em' on a spey rod. Works like a charm.

Here's proof......

Easy as that he said.....

Or, as my buddy learned last March...the Fish Punch...as the spoon came zinging back on a short line and hit him right in the mouth!

Smack!

Fish on...

That...would be strange.

I tried to follow this guy around the rest of the day so I could learn the intracies of this new twitchy technique but he supposedly thought he could make a bunch of money on it and didn't want me to figure it out so he ditched me and swam across the river. I took this here picture before he vanished.....

1. I only swim in rivers on accident. That's not to say I don't swim in rivers, because I do...but not for so simple a reason as to get away from Danny...it's usually when I am swimming for my life.

2. I do fish with creepy dudes, and that creepy dude is one of the creepy dudes I fish with.

3. Steelhead don't eat spoons....

...they spit 'em...like gators.

Fish on...

Bring a couple to the Skagit in April, and I'll bring the duct tape.

You'll be amazed how quick and easy it is.
