I looked around in a Costco store today, am wondering if any of you guys are patrons there, and what experiences you've had with them and/or the Kirkland brand ?

Never tried a "tube steak", where would you rate it on a 1 to 10 scale ?

I think you are right Mr hook. I am wondering if these rebranded products tend toward the upper end of the spectrum in quality, or the other way ?

I try to get there before the grazers. Kirkland water packed albacore is good. Some items are great buys, two big bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce for the same price you pay for 1 at the grocery store. Supposedly the policy is that nothing is marked up more than 14%.

Kirkland products are great- coffee, olive oil, batteries. I have been a member since '84.

The place rocks.

Costco has a pretty good return policy also.

The Kirkland brands are generally good values.
My office is right between the Kirkland and Woodinville stores. I find the Woodinvile store has a better MILF selection.

Unlike most things at Costco, walking down that aisle could prove to be expensive.... wink

I shop at Lacey and Tumwater Costco. Good values on lots of things rebranded Kirkland. Vitamins, albacore, frozen lasagna. Also buy Wilcox eggs. Salad produce. Kirkland wine is a good buy, and other labeled wine is often a good value also, 2 or 3 cases a trip is common. Also steaks and pork chops and chicken.

Going to Costco is almost as much fun as going to the hardware or sporting goods store.

I like a lot of Costco products (I eat a lot of their meat and olive oil). We go through a lot of eggs too, so the big packs of them are great. I even started a thread about Kirkland Buorbon, which is okay. The Sweet Baby Rays is a really good value as mentioned above.

I don't like going in Costco, my job is to unload the MAV when my wife gets home. Don't like feeling like an average mindless American sheeple being herded through the aisles to slaughter with my check or debit card (since you can't use your credit card). Don't like Disneyland or cruise ships either.
