I been skunked 2 different times on the shrimp (3am saturday and a Sunday) never seen the refrigerator empty untill lately. Not even the jumbo dino bait. Wtf is going on?

I was there last Wednesday and they had bait, but it was half rotted...

the 76 gets shrimp about twice a week and theres a full dozen.. where as monte squre they might give you 7 shrimp a container... go to the 76 station its a whole lot better place...

Yes, I am. Couldn't remember if it was the Shell or 76, but knew it was the one on the left. Half rotted bait seems to be par for the course no matter where you go. It all depends on how long you are there after they get a delivery.

I hear stories about the number of shrimp and quality of same....by pass the Chervon Station.......go North......locals buy there!!!!!!

BUT that said.....I just finished doing 2 pounds of 51-60 to the pound prawns:

1. Took the shell off

2. took filet knife, cut them length ways

Then

3. Mixed some "coloring", they are in right now.

4. Soon I will, put 12 of the half's in vacuum seal bags, and vacuum seal.

In the freezer they go........either night before or morning of....I take out 1 or 2 bags out......don't have to worry about buying or wondering if shrimp are available.

Lot's of the guides have gone to prawns......they stay on better and guess what?????? prawns catch fish also.

chevron has had a hard time getting shrimp lately. The indian guy they buy them from supposedly got hurt. He was supposed to deliver 3 days ago. The shrimp at chevron are ocean shrimp so they are larger, and usually 8-12 per container. 76's are sound shrimp so they are smaller and come by the dozen.

F' sandshrimp.....to hard to get good fresh shrimp and cured 51/60 count prawns are cheaper and catch just as many steelhead.Good luck,

PS I was down that way for the past 3 day's and noticed no fresh shrimp......glad I don't count on sandshrimp anymore..............
