Floated the Puyallup River today with no luck. We fished from the bike track in Sumner to the sewage plant by Anton's. Has anyone had any luck on the Puyallup this week? Thanks.

Got one and lost one on the Carbon this afternoon. The one I landed was a beautful native hen around twelve pounds, released her to do her thing and then lost a smaller fish. Did not here of any others caught today.

Hey Steelie Wheely, is the road going in at the sewage plant still as ugly as ever. It's been a few years since I've been in there. I was going to check it out after work this week for a takeout, was hoping you could save me a trip with a little info. Thought I would try something local next week, and maybe beat the combat boat/sled fishing on the Nooch. Thanks MAC

Mac, the road going into the river has been graded but its still alittle rough, but better than it has been. Good luck if you go fishing.

Hit the bank of the Puyallup Sunday 3pm to dusk. Fished the area below where the Puyallup and Carbon come together. One small hen released no other hook ups. Overall VERY slow on this part of the Puyallup. --- Tight lines ---

Fished the upper Carbon(above Orting) Sunday morning. Two natives twelve and fifteen pounds and lost one other fish. All were hooked on jigs, and all were hooked in water that several other fishermen walked by without making a cast. Fish the shallow water near shore, right along the current seams. All fish hooked were laying in less than three feet of water.
