I don't really want to have to point out to you that Romney lost.
Christie's problem is going to be that a majority of Dems have a favorable opinion of him.
You don;t have to convince me of Christie's qualifications.

Well, we have a while for the whole thing to play out, and plenty can happen between now and then.
If the clownshow in DC continues, we may see LOTS of things happen between now and then.

The problem is that the GOP voter base thinks Romney lost beause he wasn't conservative enough.
That right there is a good enough reason to see that the GOTea will be on the outside looking in for twelve or sixteen more years.
