Laptop, desktop, Windows 7 or 8, what, what, what?????
Most setups are pretty much...plug in, make sure cables are in right place, turn on.
Hope you got a copy of all your bookmarks and email addresses?
If you don't have Comcast......might be something you should consider, the tech service for hookups and email problems is very good.

Windows 8 is not a cluster fuk...if you treat your PC like a smart phone and use the search feature within the Start window. It's more of legacy PC users are afraid of change. Fear change. Change is bad. Legacy PC users must be republicans.

I'm not going to argue about computers with you, hell you've forgotten more than I know about them. I guess I was trying to say it takes a while to get the hang of it. You think it's a good product? What do you mean by treat it like a smart phone? Hell....I still have a flip phone.

computers will walk you through using them all from the start menu...
you can run them like a champ, or screw them up beyond belief, all through one little portal....
the only OS from MS that i thought was a sh!t one, was Vista, other than that, all newer OS's (newer than XP Pro), work great once you get them down, and its not hard to do so....

Me bride is a Mac believer and has Mac everything...Mac Pro laptop, Iphone 4, two tablets....and she almost never has problems. I have no loyalties towards Gates, but still use his stuff. I spend many more hours juggling with Microsoft than the wife does with her Mac.
