Got an 8 wt 10 foot , with the fast/fast rating. Have not had line on it yet, but would rate it only a 7 on build quality. Having second thoughts already....anyone fished the Pro4x 10 foot in a 7 to 9 wt? Your impressions would be appreciated.

I have the pro4x in 8wt... It's a great rod IMO! It casts great with a compact Scandi

Why wouldnt you use a compact switch line??

Don't see a reason the use a switchline when, for me, a compact scandi casts just as well when Single Spey casting...

I just picked up the single hander thing, so I'm no expert by any means...
