I hate wearing them but when I have to get through a set of rapids on a sunny day during the fall or winter I put on my real spendy ($10.00) stryker sun glasses.................I break and lose them to often to coin up.Good luck,
SZ

Love my smiths

only amber or copper lenses for me, a lot of other colors are to dark for low light days or they dull colors to much.

I love my Costa 580's.
I like Julbo for a mid priced fishing application.
Smiths are good but after the first pair started delaminating, I went to Costa's and haven't looked back.

Gotta give a shout out for my Maui Jim Peahi's. Best glasses I have ever owned.... used and sometimes abused for over 2 years,& not a single scratch on the lenses yet....when there probably should be. Excellent peripheral light blocking and polarizing with the wide bronzed lenses.

I agree Aa-Run, they are way to expensive for what they are...

On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate my Smiths a solid 9, my Natives about a 6 (though the interchangeable lenses are cool, and save them from being a 5)...I have some $30 Hobies that I picked up at the store on my way to the river one day when I forgot a pair of sunglasses, and they rate about a 5 or 6, too.

Fish on...

Costa triple tail, 580g blue, have had them for 6 years and broke the frames on a flight to Hawaii in July, sent them to Costa and they replace the frames for $49, while doing that they discovered the lenses were delaminating they, replaced those for $11 under manufactures warranty. So I got a new pair of $200 sunglasses for 60 bucks. Great customer service.

I wasn't talking about the bag on her head... wink

Nate, my lawn needs mowed - I'll trade you a job for the glasses. Your mom can thank me later...

That's my preferred lens color...seems like it will brighten the view a bit during low light. Good looking rig.

I've tried Bolle...cut out way too much light
WileyX...lens color more for out in the deep blue
American Optical...original, pre-teardrop aviator...lost 'em
Using el-cheapo Berkleys presently and they work OK
