If it hasn't already been said... your new avatar is a significant improvement and kicks the old one's ass.
Seriously, she looks like the key ingredient to, and the beginnng of a nice way to spend a life, and on face value since I don't know her, I'd say you made a great choice. Hopefully she is half as nice as she looks.
